Founded in 2005 by Martin Tanenhaus, TAI draws upon decades of experience to design, develop and manufacture intelligent sensing technologies, including GPS-denied IMU/INS modules for both military and civilian customers. And in that time, TAI has been awarded four patents in IMU technology. Also, Mr. Tanenhaus has been awarded patents in wireless and proximity fuzing technology.
But the mission of TAI extends beyond the ability to bring new technology to market. Our solution focused approach focuses on achieving specific goals while building platforms that can evolve over time to keep pace with future needs. We embrace software-defined paradigms by mixing unique combinations of hardware and software to deliver extraordinary results.
With close to four decades of technical and management experience in weapons development at NRL, NSWC, Magnavox, and Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin, TAI founder, president and CTO Martin Tanenhaus holds 10 patents in the areas of fuzing, IMU/INS, smart weapons, and medical electronic systems.
Tanenhaus received two awards at the 2004 Embedded Computer Systems Conference and received the TOP 100 award at Martin Marietta in 1991. He earned a B.S. in physics from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in engineering administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.. He is an active member of IEEE, ION and NDIA.
“I’m passionate about technology, and how it helps solve critical, real-world problems. And when someone says that something can’t be done, that’s where I begin. And that’s why I began Tanenhaus and Associates.”
